Take some time to get to know the founder of Ignorant Sports Fan and aspiring journalist, Henry Whitfield.
Hailing from across the pond, Henry was born in London, England and immigrated to Canada in the early 90’s. Although unable to skate upon arrival, he fell in love with the game of hockey and has been a true addict since his move. Attended Highschool in Oakville and moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2008 to attend Dalhousie University.
Most Memorable Sports Moment — Watching the debut of Michael Owen on the world stage in the 1998 World Cup against Argentina, going end to end and scoring a magnificent goal.
Biggest Heartbreak in Sports — A devastating tie between being knocked out of the last Euro and World Cup by Portugal in Penalty Kicks. Its a cruel, cruel world.
